How to Rewrite Your LinkedIn Headline So Profile Views Turn Into Conversations

By Rheanne Razo1 min read

Why Your Headline Matters

Your headline is the second thing someone sees on your profile (after your photo). It needs to say one thing: "You need to talk to me."

The Headline Formula

[Specific Role] who helps [Specific Client] [Specific Result]

Before: "Digital Marketing Expert | Content Creator | LinkedIn Coach"

After: "I help B2B founders build LinkedIn presence that attracts clients (without daily posting)"

Why This Works

The before version lists job titles. The after version speaks to a specific person with a specific problem and shows the result.

Examples That Convert

  • "Helping solopreneurs land high-ticket clients through LinkedIn positioning"
  • "I show coaches how to build authority on LinkedIn so clients find them"
  • "LinkedIn strategist: I help consultants attract quality leads without constantly posting"

What to Do Next

Rewrite your headline using the formula. Test it for 2 weeks and watch your profile views turn into messages.
